Indian or Hindu Astrology is very interesting subject and actually it helps you to understand various life aspects carefully.

It is based upon the planets which are positioned or placed in a birth chart which is created uniquely for each individual based upon certain parameters and than a person can actually derive certain conclusions.As per my understanding so far it is more like mathematics and science or geography mixture.

For e.g creation of Chart is done with the help of math principles etc

What is a horoscope or birth chart ?

This is nothing but a chart created by a knowledgeable person for you by taking some of the details from you like

• Birth Date 
• accurate time of birth and
• place where you were born to know the latitude and longitude.

 All the 9 planets like are placed or calculated based upon above inputs into the birth chart of a particular person.

• Sun 
• Moon
• Mars
• Mercury
• Jupiter
• Saturn
• Venus
• Rahu 
• Ketu

To understand it better see below a Birth Chart is shown.Birth Chart is basically divided into 12 houses and 9 planets as we speak about are placed in them.

Now a days there are plenty of softwares available to generate a horoscope or kundali or birth chart but the above basic concept remains the same.

The inputs are taken and a birth with placement of 9 planets as per calculations are placed in the chart.

Later the chart is studied to know the strength weakness for the person.
