Material Resource are typically paper cost, chair, infrastructure cost basically consumed as part of project.

Thus, in our MS Project 2013 or mpp tool we can include this cost as we well.

So let us say we have our project with task already assigned with sequentially aligned.



To add our Material Cost to our MS Project 2013, project plan kindly click the ribbon and choose Resource Sheet option.




Now to add material resource we just need to type them with basic expense as planned cost



Please note here that we need to choose MATERIAL from the drop down in the Type of resource column.

That's it we are now ready to use all our Resources assigned to our sample project plan in MS Project 2013.
