Learn/How to Create a Project in MS Project 2013 or MS Project 2010 (Step by Step with screenshots)

I recently published, the one of the best project management tools I have used and would like to share some more thoughts or goods tips further.

So let us say we would like to create a new project
But remember we need to first have some set of activities ready to create a project

Further once we goto our start option and click on create a new project from scratch below screen appears

I have used here MS Project 2013 version but screen is pretty much similar for MS Project 2010.

To further add our activities the idea is simple just type in the Task Name column



The concept is simple just type all the activities or planned for my project in the Task Name and thus this is the list of activities which we require to do the project.
further, we also have something known as Gantt chart on the right part of this where it will show some timelines for the activity as soon as we fill the values in the duration column.



Now as we can see that our MS Project tool has created some lines on the right sides, these are the Gantt chart.

If now we link the Task for our sample project, as shown below with the link button it will create a sequence which means Task 2 will be done after Task 1 and simply Task 3 can be done post Task 2.



So below change will happen post pressing the "link for selected Tasks" option in the MS Project 2013 tool(also works in MS Project 2010).



Wow isn't this fascinating fact. A beautiful gantt chart automatically created by the tool MS Project once we link all the task and thus a sequence is created on the right side as shown.

further we can notice in the column called as "Predecessors" the tool automatically created the values which we wanted for
Task 2 - first Task 1 should be completed
Task 3 - first Task 2 should be completed
