Sampling A smart Technique in Marketing

Sampling is a very commonly found technique or method in the area of Marketing.

Actually sampling is nothing but selection of a certain percentage of a group of items according to a predetermined plan.In another words if we need to do a survey or a test over a billion or million items we can't achieve in a smaller duration of time frame.

Therefore we take some items based upon the criteria as per need and this is what is known as sampling.

It is important because
Concentrated study of selected items is to be done
These are representatives of units selected
Large area can be easily covered.
scrutiny is also possible
