Recently I have visited a beautiful tourist place in India known as Shimla which actually comes under Himachal Pradesh state.
How to reach Shimla ?
There are various ways to reach here
I preferred the Toy Train which is more awesome and cool since it goes around 108 tunnels and between and around many valleys and quite a good scenery can be seen good for nature lovers like me.
What is there to visit in Shimla
There are various Places to visit here which are
The Mall Road : A very long road around 1-2 Km in length is main attraction by tourists and me too.All visitors to Shimla coming from different places walk down the Mall Road , it has a busy shopping area with old colonial buildings, souvenir shops and restaurants. At the top end of the Mall is Scandal Point and nearby a domino Pizza where you can enjoy Pizza as we did, a large open square with a view of the town-a favourite rendezvous for visitors and the local people.
Also there are many monuments near Christ Church with its fine stained glass windows having Indira Gandhi etc statue.
Jakhoo Hanumanji Temple : This is the Shimla's highest point and we walked till the top point from Christ Church which ofcourse resulted in loss of many hours and we also got exhausted but other toursits always found some taxi which is more comfortable.
Anyway we enjoyed as we got more chanced of beautiful pics around the shimla on the way to our journey.
, is rewarding for there are superb views of the town and its surroundings. At the top is an old Hanuman temple where we can a huge Idol of Lord Hanuman.
Annandale : Nearby Shimla Vidhan Sabha we can see the route going down to beautiful golf Course known as Annadale also it is attracted with various scenic beauty around itself.
Kufri Top
Kufri is a well known lovely point nearby Shimla with its glorious views of forested slopes and tall ranges iced in a covering of perpetual snow.It has also got the resort park where the Shimla Agreement took place.
Near by there is a zoo which can be explored with various animals lion,different birds etc.
This covers so far we have explored the shimla in this recent visit.Let see if we can explore more will share soon.

- you can catch train till Kalka Railway Station and then try a cab or taxi till shimla or
- you can catch train till kalka Railway Station and then try a beautiful journey with Toy Train.

ReplyDeleteIt is the fact that Shimla is known as the queen of the hills. this place is very much elegant to visit. that's the reason why tourist prefer for this place more and more from time to time, that too in the month of the November and the December.

Shimla Queen of Hills is absolutely correct. I have also visited this place https://www.shimlapacks.in/shimla-honeymoon-tour-packages-bhubaneswar last summer. I enjoyed Kufri, Local Shimla, Chail, Tata Pani etc. All things was superb.
