Addition of task is very important as it lays the foundation for any project. A Project is basically a plan to execute and achieve a predefined objective.
There are 4 types of Tasks in the MS Project 2013 tool, here we can add our task by our requirement.
These are
- Finish to Start
- Start to Start
- Start to Finish
- Finish to Finish
For example let us say we need to cook food so first we need buy vegetables then prepare them by cutting etc and so on.
The Finish to start is an easier one as there multiple ways to doing it. Simplest way is just to enter predecessor for Task 2 as Task 1 and this create an arrow or link as we can see below.
Thus, we can now notice for all the task if we enter previous one as prior task or predecessor it becomes a sequential chain of events starting from Task1 till end Task 5.
